# Frontier 2026 Results

## Frontier by the Numbers

The Frontier hackathon ran from April 6 to May 11, 2026, and closed as the largest crypto hackathon to date:

* **2,857** final projects submitted
* **10,000+** participating builders
* **150+** countries represented
* **26** winning teams, announced on June 26, 2026. Colosseum expanded the winner pool by 5 teams, citing record submission quality

## Grand Champion: CrowdBrain

**CrowdBrain**, a vertically-integrated robotics DePIN, took the $30,000 Grand Champion prize, sponsored by Phantom and paid in CASH, Phantom's USD stablecoin. The remaining pool went to 25 runner-up startups ($10,000 each) plus the $10,000 University Award and the $10,000 Public Goods Award.

## Brazil Track Results

The Brazil local track on Superteam Earn received **81 submissions**. Winners were announced on June 1, 2026, with **10,000 USDG** distributed across the top 10 Brazilian teams. See the [Earn listing](https://superteam.fun/earn/listing/hackathon-superteambrasil) for the full results.

## Accelerator Cohort 5

On June 29, 2026, Colosseum announced its fifth accelerator cohort: **21 startups** (roughly double the previous cohort, at a 0.7% admittance rate), drawn from two pipelines, Frontier winners and the Eternal sprint. The current global hackathon is the **Crypto World's Fair**, running **September 14 – October 12, 2026**: an online competition across all crypto ecosystems with a dedicated Solana track.
